Types of Wire Rope Thimbles

Solid thimbles: It is a type of wire rope end fitting that is used to protect the rope from wear and abrasion. It is placed over the end of the wire rope and then secured in place with a ferrule. This creates a secure connection that can withstand heavy loads and repeated use. And it is made from a strong, durable material malleable cast iron(sling φ 8~32mm) and nodular cast iron(sling φ 36~60mm). And coated with brick red plastic paint. Standard: GB/T 5974.2-2006.
