>> What is a horizontal lifeline?

Horizontal lifelines are an important safety measure in many workplaces. They provide a horizontal anchor point that workers can use to attach themselves to, preventing them from falling. They can be made from a variety of materials, including metal cables, ropes, or webbing. They must be properly installed and maintained to ensure their strength and durability.

Note for use:

  • The rope should not be knotted when using
  • Avoid using on sharp sides
  • The minimum impact force to open the cushion bag is 2KN or 203KG. A slight slide or drop may not be strong enough to cause the cushion bag to fail to open.

When choosing a horizontal lifeline, there are a few key factors to consider:

  • First, you need to determine the length of the horizontal lifeline you need. This will depend on the specific application and the work area.
  • Second, you need to select a horizontal lifeline that is rated for the appropriate weight capacity. This is important for safety reasons.
  • Third, you need to choose a horizontal lifeline that is compatible with your fall protection system.
  • Lastly, you need to make sure the horizontal lifeline is properly installed and maintained.
